Is therapy for me?


Most people find therapy helpful in solving specific problems and alleviating feelings of distress. Studies show that about 80% of therapy clients report significant improvement within eight sessions. For some, therapy can be a transformational experience. By addressing difficult issues, many can turn their challenges into lasting change.

What is an LCSW?


A LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker. I have a master's degree in social work (MSW) with an emphasis in mental health. I have been licensed by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences since 1996 and am trained as a psychotherapist.

How long are sessions and how often would we meet?


Sessions are 50 minutes long, and we would usually meet on a weekly basis.

What is your fee?


My standard fee is $175 per session. You may pay with credit card, HSA card, check, or cash.

Do you take insurance?


I am in-network with Aetna only. If I am out-of-network for your plan, I will provide you with statement that you may submit to your insurance company for reimbursement per your plan's benefits. Please check with you insurance company regarding your benefits or feel free to call me for assistance with understanding your insurance plan.
